Isn't it ironic?

1. Undestandement Irony:

• "Mr. Play it safe was afraid to fly, [...] , He waited his hole damn life to take that flight, And as the train crashed down he thought 'Well isn't this nice'"

Situational Irony:

• "A no-smoking sign on your cigarette break"

Verbal Irony:

• "A traffic jam when you're already late"

2. In my opinion the most ironic is "A no-smoking sign on your cigarette break" because it's the only time you have to smoke and you can't because it is a n-smoking place.
3. In my opinion the writer was trying to how sad some situations can be. Often people complains of things that are not important on life or that compared to other people problems are nothing.  I think that the writer wrote a song like this to show those people that sometimes life can be not so good but you will always get help from it.
